“When you’re at the top, you need to rest. After six years, sometimes you take a break to reorganize your thoughts and also observe how the industry is changing. With TikTok emerging and everyone creating content, you need to rebrand yourself,” Desagu explained.

He emphasized the importance of self-care and how taking this break is a necessary step for him to refresh and strengthen his approach to content creation and making money.

“After doing something for six years or a long time, you need to sit down and have a meeting with yourself to see if the strategies you’re using are still effective and what else you can do. Ultimately, the whole purpose of creating content is to make money,” Desagu explained.

Despite stepping back from regular content creation, Desagu assured his fans that this is not the end for him.

He has been working on other projects that also require his attention, which is why he hasn’t been producing the content people are used to.

“There are other projects I’m working on as an artist, such as working with NGOs, and I also do digital marketing and consultancy. I can’t keep doing the same thing I’ve been doing; I need to think about new developments,” Desagu explained.
